In Search of True Christians

July 16, 2010  Federal abortion funding... marks a major sign post in the Countdown to the Return of Jesus Christ... Representative Bart Stupak's executive order is not worth the paper it is written on.  He sold his soul for that executive order ' and he sold out cheap.  The day the House voted to pass the health care bill, President Obama signed an executive order purporting to prevent federal funding of abortions.  However, if you are a taxpayer ' you are now funding the abortion of babies... It is morally wrong to end an unborn human life, and it is reprehensible to extort taxpayer dollars from every American to pay for abortions...  As assuredly as the Kings of Israel were destroyed for the slaughter of babies, the US Government's involvement in the taking of innocent human life will shortly lead to the destruction of this entire country.  Infanticide was rampant in the days of Jeremiah just as it is today.  Few people realize how closely we follow in Judah's steps when the little fetus is murdered and disposed of in an incinerator.  God's judgment declares that there will not be room enough to bury those who perform such cruelties (Jeremiah 7:30-32).

Today, February 18, 2012  The attack on our freedom of religion continues in a powerful way.  Our constitutional religious liberties have been dealt a mortal blow.  Do not be fooled by so called 'accommodations' for Christian's beliefs.  There is no exemption for any group and there is there is no contemplation by the administration for the religious rights of the citizen.  President Obama's administration has just put into federal law the very regulation that drew objections from nearly 200 Catholic bishops, some 50 religiously affiliated colleges and universities, 65 North American bishops of Orthodox churches, numerous other Jewish, Evangelical and Lutheran leaders ' without changing so much as a comma.  President Obama's administration locked into regulation its original position that citizens pay for abortion pills with tax dollars.

If the government can trample on our God given constitutional rights with impunity, how much longer do we have before our religious broadcast and internet services are suspended by 'law?' 

'The night comes when no man can work.'  (John 9:4)

'He will finish the work, and cut it short in righteousness: because a short work will the Lord make upon the earth.'  (Romans 9:28)

'Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the Lord."  (Amos 8:11)

'They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever kills you will think that he doeth God service.'  (John 16:2)

'Seek ye the Lord while He may be found, call ye upon Him while he is near.'  (Isaiah 55:6)

In Search of True Christians

Brethren, God the Father and the Word, Jesus Christ, devised a plan wherein they would share their existence - their love - their life - and call many sons and daughters to glory  (Hebrews 2:10).  God determined from the foundation of the world that the Messiah would come and that He would have a body of brethren to reign and rule throughout the millennium with Him (Revelation 5:10, 20:4).

"As many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name:  Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of [the will of] God."  (John 1:12-13)

It is impossible to honor Christ the Head while we are disregarding and dishonoring His Body, the church brethren, for whom He shed His blood.  And so the question arises, 'Where are the true Christians of today?'  Where are those Christians who are actually living their faith so as to be in the first resurrection and be in the millennium with Jesus Christ?  Is a true Christian one who only professes to be?  Is a true Christian one who only hopes to be included in the category of Christians?  Is a true Christian one who only says,' Lord, Lord?'

There is a salvational process that began before time and will continue until the Messiah has completed His work.  If at any point a converted Christian interrupts God's process of salvation in his life, there remains no hope of serving in the millennium with Him.

"If we sin willfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remains no more sacrifice for sins,  But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries."  (Hebrews 10:26-27)

We look forward to being in the 1000 year millennium with Christ as our Head ' and we the glorified spiritual body.

"[The Lord Jesus Christ] shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto His glorious body, according to the working whereby He is able even to subdue all things unto Himself."  (Philippians 3:21)

"And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus."  (Ephesians 2:6)

Let's carry some of what we are seeing to its conclusion ' let's put the pieces together.  The process that Christians go through is this: They must be called of God; they must be chosen of God; and they must be faithful to God ' enduring until the very end (Revelation 17:14).  It is politically incorrect to say that only true Christians will inherit the Kingdom of God ' but let every word of God be true, and let every man who speaks otherwise be a liar (Romans 3:4).

"[God] hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose, [Plan] and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began."  (2 Timothy 1:9) [that is how far back the plan goes ' and it includes us]

"It pleased the LORD to bruise Him; He hath put Him to grief: when thou shalt make His soul an offering for sin, He shall see his seed, [a body of brethren to reign and rule in the millennium with Him] He shall prolong His days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in His hand."  (Isaiah 53:10)
