Bible Predictions |
Dear Brethren,
What has happened to the safety and security of our once
beautiful land? Why are we losing the peace and tranquility our
nation once enjoyed? Why is all of nature itself is such an uproar
of confusion commotion? We are seeing so much turmoil,
upheaval, terrorism, war, storms, death and destruction. Everywhere
we turn, the catastrophes are becoming greater and more
frequent. Now, it seems that every morning we wake-up with the
expectation of some massive new tragedy in the news.
When is it all going to stop – and return to a state of
normalcy? Mankind, in its pride and arrogance, still thinks it can
thumb its nose at God. But, who is going to have the last word? We
know the answer to that question. God is. He says that all the
cataclysms, obliterations and annihilation will not end – because
they are the result of man’s rejection of God in his life. What
we’ve seen so far in terrorism and hurricanes – is a walk in the
park – compared to what is coming.
Are most of us like ostriches - with our heads buried in the sand
– not able to recognize the downward spiral of increasing chaos that
will end in nothing less than the total devastation of the
earth? It doesn't have to happen - if mankind would change.
Repentance simply means changing from personal and national
lifestyles that are contrary to what God says.
Make no mistake about it – mankind could stop the sorrow and misery
by repenting of sin, but that’s not going to happen. Who would stop
committing adultery – even if it meant saving the world from
imminent destruction? Who would turn totally honest for the sake of
mankind? "Evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse,
deceiving, and being deceived." (2Timothy 3:13)
Will men stop fighting in war and place his faith in God? Who would
turn from lying to the truth to save his brother? Would any turn
from prostitution, lesbianism, or homosexuality to purity - in order
to deliver this nation from ruin? Who would worship the true
Creator God on His Sabbath Day in order to gain His blessings and
protection? We are too full of selfish desires and lusts to have
peace. "From whence come wars and fightings among you? come
they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members?"
(James 4:1)
We are living in a fool’s paradise if we believe that man will
somehow gain control over all the disorder and bring all societies
of the earth into perfect harmony. Prophecy declares that all this
mayhem - death and ruin - is not going to end until Jesus Christ
returns and puts a stop to it, Himself. "Except that the Lord
had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the
elect's sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days." (Mark 13:20)
This world would end the way the mad scientists have envisioned – in
Mutually Assured Destruction – except that Jesus is going to
intervene and put a stop to the Madness. Have we come to the
point where it is too late to reverse the destructive progression
that is leading to our demise? When will we believe? God promises
peace, happiness, health, and prosperity for obedience. But we have
not been obedient to God's law! Worshipping God must be on His
terms – not mans.
God's commandments against lying, cheating on your spouse, stealing
and murder are as wrong today as when God first uttered the words
“Thou shalt not.” Sin destroys families, causes mental illness, and
ruins society. Incurable diseases and catastrophes are coming as a
result of breaking God's commandments. God, Himself, says so. God
tells us the only way we can survive. Must we die – before we find
out that His Word is True? Jesus said, “It is written, man
shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out
of the mouth of God." (Matthew 4:4)
The prophecies were shut up and sealed until now. When Daniel asked
the meaning of the words, he was told, "Go your way, Daniel, for
the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end"
(Daniel 12:8-9). We have come to the time of the end. This
prophecy is about our time! Daniel was told, "the wicked shall
do wickedly; and none of the wicked shall understand, but the wise –
they shall understand" (verse 10). Brethren,
the choice is ours - we can be wicked – and not understand, or we
can be wise - they shall understand.
We are rapidly approaching the very end, the close of this age – the
end time! Time is short – very short. Do not be like the foolish
virgins who waited too long to have their lamps filled. Jesus warns
us - soon it will be too late. Jesus is coming back to this earth
to judge between the good and the bad. Between right and wrong.
Between morality and immorality. Between the carnal and the truly
converted. Notice the words of Christ: "Then will I profess
unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
He shall say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye
cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his
angels." (Matthew 7:23 Matthew 25:41)
Let’s look at some more promises of God – just so they won’t sneak up on
us. Ultimate destruction is going to hit our country right when
everyone thinks things are all hunky-dory! "When they shall say,
Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them and they
shall not escape." (1Thessalonians 5:3) Catastrophic
and mind boggling events are beginning to take place. It is not too late
for the United States, Canada and Britain – if only they would heed God’s
warning message. Do not be lulled into complacency! Were you
expecting the terrorist attacks that have begun? You should have been
expecting them.
Brethren, if America and England continue to reject God – we will soon cease
to exist as nations. If we do not repent, God's punishment for
disobedience will increase. Here is what is coming: Incurable
diseases and scarcity of food, defeat by enemies, more terrorist attacks,
and national panic. Our financial strength and military power will be
broken. Massive drought conditions are coming - resulting in near total
crop failures.
And if America and England still will not turn to God, the punishment
will become even greater yet. We will be conquered by its
enemies. Disease epidemics will sweep through our families and
children. We will become captured prisoners and hostages of our enemies
scattered and held in death camps. Cannibalism will take place – even
among family members. American and British cities will be leveled by
nuclear attacks. Our enemies will be astonished at how the greatest
superpowers in the history of the world have been so easily
conquered. Only God can rescue our Land.
Brethren, hear the Word of the Lord in Ezekiel 18:31: "Cast away from you all your
transgressions, whereby ye have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a new spirit: for why will ye
die, O house of Israel?"
