Just whose responsibility is it to warn our nation of its sins?  Why won’t the leaders of the Church of God take a stand?  Are they too comfortable with things the way they are?  Have the ministerial leaders of God’s Church forgotten that we are to obey God and not man (Acts 5:29)?  Are they ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ?

“Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.”  (Mark 8:38)

Why does it take someone like Dr. James Dobson, formerly of Focus on the Family, who is not a minister, to Cry aloud, spare not, lift up [his] voice like a trumpet, and show [our President his] transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins.”  (Isaiah 58:1)

Dr. Dobson, at the National Day of Prayer event in Washington, D.C. complimented the President for sending a proclamation declaring a national day of prayer this week, and then said, “The Creator will not hold us guiltless if we turn a deaf ear to the cries of innocent babies.  So come and get me Mr. President – if you must – I will not yield to your wicked regulations.”

While hundreds of cheering people gave Dr. Dobson a standing ovation at the bi-partisan breakfast, the big news was the fact that one congress woman from California walked out of the prayer event saying that Dr. Dobson acted inappropriately by calling the President the “abortion  President.”   Obviously, the congress woman thought it more appropriate to be a partaker in those atrocious abominations than to be pleasing in God’s sight.

“Whatsoever we ask, we receive of [God], because we keep His commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in His sight… And this is the confidence that we have in Him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, He hears us:  And if we know that He hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of Him.”  (1 John 3:22, 1 John 5:14-15)

Dr. James Dobson went on to say that President Obama has done everything he could to promote abortion – and the people elected him anyway.  He explained that the people of the Sanctity of Life Movement feel strongly that life is precious, and that they are intense when it comes to the killing of babies

Our Church leaders should be saying these things – why does Dr. Dobson have to stand alone when it comes to these pivotal issues?  Four years ago, on March 23, 2010, President Barack Obama, signed a law obligating every tax-paying citizen to participate in paying for abortions – making every American culpable.  He calls it "health" but it means death to millions of babies – just like when Pharaoh and Herod killed the babies. 

We have reached a major turning point in the countdown to the return of Jesus Christ.  The United States law on healthcare, with its federally funded abortions, marks a milestone in our nation’s descent into the morass of immorality.  Abortion is the law of the land. Do most Americans still believed the command – Thou shalt not murder?

Brethren, please be deeply concerned about the direction our Church and country are headed.  Our Almighty God said this about the killing of innocent babies, "I commanded not [abortion], nor spoke it, neither came it into my mind."  (Jeremiah 19:5)  Our Lord could not imagine that mankind could be so cruel and heartless as to kill their own beautiful children.

America has turned its back on our Creator God.  Dreadful and appalling curses are now in store for the United States of America (Deuteronomy 28:15).  God is not pleased with us in the USA.  We have rejected our loving Creator God.  The Church of God must oppose abortions.  This is a heinous crime in God’s eyes.

Brethren, please pray that God quickly intervenes to help the United States of America.  God has blessed America immensely in power and wealth, but America is going through fundamental change – we are losing our morals.  We have become a Godless and lawless nation.  It is not too late, because God promised, “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”  (2 Chronicles 7:14)
