The title of today’s sermon comes from:
1 Thessalonians 4:
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
31 And [the Lord] shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
The Feast of Trumpets pictures the time when Jesus Christ will make a clean sweep of every government and institution of man that stood contrary and defiantly against the will of God. The Feast of Trumpets marks the end of 6000 years of man’s rule on this earth – and ushers in the rule of Jesus Christ and the Kingdom of God. Today symbolizes the final turning point in man’s history.
Jonah preached to sinful Nineveh and – the people repented in sackcloth and ashes. This time, however, the Scriptures show us that man is not going to repent. The Seals, Trumpets and Vials give us the Countdown sequence to the Return of Jesus Christ given in the Bible. On this Feast of Trumpets we are going to look at how events are unfolding.
1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto [John], to show unto his servants [US] things which must shortly come to pass;
The Feast of Trumpets Pictures the Return of Jesus Christ to this earth in Great Power. All of the Trumpets are God’s wrath because of mankind’s rejection of Him. God is coming against those who are proud and arrogant.
12 For the day of the LORD of hosts shall be upon every one that is proud and lofty, and upon every one that is lifted up; and he shall be brought low:
17 And the loftiness of man shall be bowed down, and the haughtiness of men shall be made low: and the LORD alone shall be exalted in that day.
18 And the idols he shall utterly abolish…
The nations of the world will be gathered in concert against the returning Jesus Christ. Sinners will be destroyed by Him.
4 The noise of a multitude in the mountains, like as of a great people; a tumultuous noise of the kingdoms of nations gathered together: the LORD of hosts musters the host of the battle.
5 They come from a far country, from the end of heaven, even the LORD, and the weapons of his indignation, to destroy the whole land.
6 Howl ye; for the day of the LORD is at hand; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty.
7 Therefore shall all hands be faint, and every man's heart shall melt:
8 And they shall be afraid: pangs and sorrows shall take hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman that travails [in childbirth]: they shall be amazed one at another; their faces shall be as flames.
9 Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it.
But Paul tells us in Thessalonians that mankind is going to believe that everything is going really well – when it is about to be annihilated.
1 Thessalonians 5:
3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
Brethren, we are living in the end-time – the last days. In today’s Sermon we will see that all the things we see and take for granted – this entire earth and everything in it – are about to undergo horrific change – if not total destruction.
Government systems: Postal service – shortened and interrupted, Military preparedness and support, Farming, Education, Communications, Transportation – only vital functions still operational, Social Security and Disability sharply curtailed, Religious persecution, Racial intolerance, The Health system will be utterly undependable when it is needed. On and on…
More and more there will be a shoring up of the defaulting – failing systems. More and more God is allowing man to see that he is not up to the task of directing the affairs of this world without the help and direction of God.
15 Alas for the day! for the day of the LORD is at hand, and as a destruction from the Almighty shall it come.
1 Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand;
God gives us the framework of end time events – and then He fills in the many details of what is going to take place.
1 And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals.
On today’s Feast of Trumpets we will concern ourselves primarily with the seventh seal. The seventh seal contains the seven Trumpets.
2 And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof?
3 And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon.
4 And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon.
Next, we see that Jesus Christ is worthy to open and read the book:
5 And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.
6 And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.
7 And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne.
8 And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odors, which are the prayers of saints.
9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou was slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.
Let’s go briefly through the First Four Seals – The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse - which simply means “Revelation.” The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse – are “Symbols or Figures that Reveal.” But what do they mean?
First Seal – The First Horseman – False Prophets or Preachers
In Revelation 6:1 we see that it is the Lamb – Jesus Christ – who is worthy to open the seals.
1 And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see.
2 And I saw, and behold a white horse:
This White Horse is a Counterfeit Jesus Christ. Christ has a sword and many crowns.
Jesus, himself gives us the meaning of these 7 symbols.
3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
Except for God’s true Church, everyone is preaching the:
Wrong Jesus… Wrong Gospel… Wrong day of worship…Wrong attitude… Wrong Law… Wrong Spirit… Wrong Worship… Wrong Messiah… And yet, a very clever deception that is even now threatening the True Church of God.
Second Seal – The Second Horseman – Wars
6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
4 And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.
Third Seal – The Third Horseman – Famines
7 …and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. [Weather extremes – drought – storm floods]
5-6 And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand.
Fourth Seal – The Fourth Horseman – Pestilences or Disease Epidemics
7 …and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places earthquakes, in divers places.
8 And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.
What’s next? These first four seals have been ongoing since at least the start of the New Testament Church – and will gradually continue to get worse and worse – culminating with the:
1. “Man of sin” who Christ will destroy with the brightness of His coming,
2. Worldwide domination, and devastating
3. Hunger and
8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
Brethren – we have come to this point in prophetic history - this is where we are! Right before the Tribulation!
21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
The Pain is just starting - - just beginning.
Fifth Seal – Tribulation – Begin the Three and a Half Years
The Wrath of Satan against the Brethren is next.
4 And they worshiped the dragon [ SATAN ] which gave power unto the beast: [The culmination of the fullness of the resurrections – 10th and last resurrection of the Holy Roman Empire ] and they worshiped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? Who is able to make war with him?
5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. [That is three and a half years! 2 ½ years of Satan’s wrath followed by 1 year of the day of the Lord.]
Satan will have tremendous power to destroy and will fight Christ to the end – but Jesus Christ will not allow everyone to be killed – because the Church of God will be preserved.
20 And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved [alive]: but for the elect's sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days.
8 For it is the day of the LORD'S vengeance, and the year of recompenses for the controversy of Zion. [Zion is the Church.]
6 And [the beast] opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.
7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, [To make war with the saints! That’s Religious Persecution!] and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.
8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
14 And this Gospel of the Kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
The original apostles preached the Gospel…
The Church of God has been preaching the Gospel…
The two witnesses will also preach mightily…
11 And [the angel said unto [John], Thou must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings. [the Gospel goes out even more]
Let’s not be waiting on the heavenly signs. The Tribulation begins without warnings. Let me describe the times when the 5th Seal begins. People will be doing business as usual – no collapse of society yet. Little kids will be playing and going to the zoo. Dads will be at work – the construction industry will be fine. Young moms will be going to the supermarket and getting supper.
26 And as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.
27 They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.
28 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built.
29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.
30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.
There will be no warning what-so-ever! There will, however, be a tell tale sign. True Practicing Christians will be standing for the Truth – and getting in trouble for it. Persecution is the only tell-tale sign that marks the beginning of the Fifth Seal. That is the persecution of the True practicing Christians. To the non-performing Christians (there will be a lot of them) it will seem that the practicing Christians brought the trouble on themselves. These lukewarm Christians have a very serious lesson yet to learn.
12 Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and of the sea! for the devil [Satan] is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knows that he hath but a short time. [Satan knows better than anybody how short time is.]
13 And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman [Church Brethren ] which brought forth the man child.
14 And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place [ of Safety and Protection ], where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent. [protected for the entire 3 ½ years]
15 And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.
16 And the earth helped the woman, [Brethren in the Place of Safety] and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth.
17 And the dragon [Satan] was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, [those who weren’t qualified to be taken to the Place of Safety] which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.
9 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: [This is about Christians who have been previously martyred – in effect waiting for justice to be worked by God – it is as if their blood cries out. Allegorically – they are asking Christ to come and avenge their deaths.]
10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?
11 And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellow servants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled. [i.e., those Brethren who will die in the Tribulation]
We see that those Christians who have not yet – up to the very beginning of the Tribulation - fully indicated to God that they are willing to lay down their lives – as Christ did – in a spiritual way – will have to lay down their lives by physically shedding their blood in the Tribulation. Herbert W. Armstrong said that they became “converted during the Tribulation.”
One of the elders at the throne of God asked about the 144,000 and great multitude who were sealed. Few realize that though the Tribulation is Satan’s Wrath – it is also the Last Act of Love from God for His Brethren to come out of the World. Satan is foiled – Christ is victorious.
14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knows. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
The Martyrdom of the Brethren takes place during the Tribulation. (Except for those in the Place of Safety) They were slain for the word of God.
Sixth Seal – Heavenly Signs - God is warning the entire world
9 Immediately -- after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
30-31 And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the Lord come.
12-13 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;
And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree castes her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.
Notice: the Wrath of God is associated with the Seventh Seal
17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?
Seventh Seal – The Seven Trumpets
1 And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour.
2 And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets.
Day of the Lord begins when the First Trumpet Sounds
Seventh Seal – First Trumpet – Third of Trees and Grass Burnt
7 The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up. [there goes the beef cattle industry]
Seventh Seal – Second Trumpet – Third of Sea Becomes Blood
8 And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood;
9 And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed. [there goes the fishing industry]
Seventh Seal – Third Trumpet – Third of Fresh Water Becomes Bitter
10 And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters;
11 And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter. [there goes the fresh vegetable and fruit produce industry]
Seventh Seal – Fourth Trumpet – Third of Light Taken from Sun, Moon, Stars
12 And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise. [very troublesome for the solar panel production of electricity]
Seventh Seal – Fifth Trumpet – Three Woes
13 And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound! [increasing destruction and fear – death squads - war]
Seventh Seal – Fifth Trumpet – First Woe – War With Satan
18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. [Satan’s power unleashed]
1 And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit. [Demons go forth around the world]
2 And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit. [these are futuristic soldiers who are possessed of demons]
3 And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power. [Only the true saints who are sealed are protected]
4 And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.
5 And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he strikes a man.
10 … and their power was to hurt men five months. [Satan empowers the beast power to war.]
11 And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon.
Seventh Seal – Sixth Trumpet – Second Woe – Third of Mankind Slain
The nations will be angry.
12 One woe is past; and, behold, there come two woes more hereafter.
13 And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God,
14 Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates.
15 And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men.
16 And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them. [A 200 million horseman army kills one-third of men on the earth.]
10 For this is the day of the Lord GOD of hosts, a day of vengeance, that he may avenge him of his adversaries: and the sword shall devour, and it shall be satiated and made drunk with their blood: for the Lord GOD of hosts hath a sacrifice in the north country by the river Euphrates.
Men will be dying because they have rejected God. These Trumpet plagues are for the purpose of bringing men to repentance.
20 And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk:
21 Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.
The Ten Thunders of Revelation Ten bring about the conclusion of matters… It is as though the powerful angel says, “The jig is up!” There is no more time to come to repentance – there is only the final resolution of the matter.
6 …there should be time no longer:
7 But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.
Last warning to the world of mankind.
11 And he said unto me, Thou must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings.
3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.
Two Witnesses Slain
7 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascends out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.
11 And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into the [two witnesses], and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.
Here is where we come to the last Feast of Pentecost before the return of Christ to this earth in great power.
12 And the [two witnesses] heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.
That is when we are going to meet-up with Jesus Christ, the two witnesses, and all the other saints who have ever lived. Those saints who have learned to lay down their lives, just as Jesus did, are resurrected and accepted by God the Father in heaven – just as the Wave Sheaf was accepted by Him – to become the Bride of the Lamb of God.
1 Corinthians 15:
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
1 Thessalonians 4:
15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not precede them which are asleep.
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
The Resurrection Pentecost
We are carried – we are transported to the throne of God. It is after these events of the last Pentecost, before the throne of God in heaven, that the seven last plagues are poured out on the earth.
6 And before the throne [of God the Father] there was a sea of glass like unto crystal:
2 And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and the[saints] that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God.
Wrath of God
Seventh Seal – Seventh Trumpet – Third Woe – Seven Vials –
Plagues of God – Complete fulfillment of God’s wrath.
14 The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly.
15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign forever and ever.
18 And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou should give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and should destroy them which destroy the earth.
19 And the temple of God was opened in heaven…
The famous battle of Armageddon follows:
1 And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvelous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God.
Seventh Trumpet – Complete fulfillment of God’s wrath.
7 And one of the four beasts gave unto the seven angels seven golden vials full of the wrath of God, who lives forever and ever.
1 And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.
30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;
16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sits on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:
17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?
18 Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in the day of the Lord's wrath; but the whole land shall be devoured by the fire of his jealousy: for He shall make even a speedy riddance of all them that dwell in the land. [It happens quickly.]
Seventh Seal – Seventh Trumpet – Third Woe – First Vial – Grievous Sores
2 And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshiped his image.
Seventh Seal – Seventh Trumpet – Third Woe – Second Vial – Sea as Blood
3 And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man: and every living soul died in the sea.
Seventh Seal – Seventh Trumpet – Third Woe – Third Vial – Rivers as Blood
4 And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood.
19 … Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.
5 And I heard the angel of the waters say, Thou art righteous, O Lord, which art, and wast, and shalt be, because thou hast judged thus.
6 For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy.
Seventh Seal – Seventh Trumpet – Third Woe – Fourth Vial – Sun Scorches
Worst solar flare ever will strike the earth.
8 And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire.
9 And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.
26 Moreover the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold, as the light of seven days, in the day that the LORD binds up the breach of his people, and heals the stroke of their wound.
Seventh Seal – Seventh Trumpet – Third Woe – Fifth Vial – Darkness
10 And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain,
11 And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds.
15 That day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of wasteness and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness.
Seventh Seal – Seventh Trumpet – Third Woe – Sixth Vial – Euphrates Dries Up
12 And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared.
13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.
14 For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.
Let me mention something as we come to the very last VIAL. God created this earth in stages for a dwelling place for mankind. In ages past – before Adam and Eve 6000 years ago – there was great upheaval in the earth’s surface. Tremendous earthquakes took place when the earth’s colliding tectonic plates gave rise to 14,000 foot mountains in the American West, and peaks up to 29,000 ft in the Himalayas! Could Man have survived???
Seventh Seal – Seventh Trumpet – Third Woe – Seventh Vial – Great Earthquake
17 And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done, [God’s wrath is complete, it is finished].
The Scriptures Reveal that the last earthquake will be more powerful and devastating than any in the entire history of man on earth!
18 And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great.
I read an article about the Atomic Bomb Tests in Trinity, New Mexico during WWII. Now, they have gone back in there and plowed under the surface soil to “clean-up” the residual radiation. How much more will this entire Earth be in need of Cleaning?
With this coming great earthquake God will restore the entire surface of the earth to bring it to the way He created it. By the end of the millennium the whole earth will be like the Garden of Eden.
30 Thou send forth thy spirit, they are created: and thou renew the face of the earth.
21 And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.
The earth has become ‘tohu’ and ‘bohu’ and ‘choshek’ – without form, void and darkness – as in Genesis 2. Where are the saints while this is happening? We are still with Father and the Son on our spiritual honeymoon – above all the fracas.
1 And after these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying, Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honour, and power, unto the Lord our God:
2 For true and righteous are his judgments: for he hath judged the great whore, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and hath avenged the blood of his servants at her hand.
7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.
8 And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.
9 And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.
11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
19 And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.
20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.
21 And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.
7 Hold thy peace at the presence of the Lord GOD: for the day of the LORD is at hand: for the LORD hath prepared a sacrifice, he hath bid his guests.
8 And it shall come to pass in the day of the Lord’s sacrifice, that I will punish the princes, and the king's children, and all such as are clothed with strange apparel. [not white robes of righteousness]

4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; [Like the Grand Canyon] and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.
Jerusalem will be high country – the source of a river - flowing out of it! Spiritually a picture of the Lining Waters which will proceed from Jesus Christ and the Saints!

38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water
39 (But this spoke he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Spirit was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)
15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and He shall reign forever and ever.
