Abortion is the
Law of the Land |
Dear Brethren,
Today ;is a dark day for our country.
We have reached a major turning point in the countdown to the return of
Jesus Christ. The new United States law on health-care reform,
with its provision for federally funded abortion, marks a
milestone in our nation’s descent into the morass of
immorality. Abortion is now fully the law of the land. [The
executive order notwithstanding.] Contrary to God’s law back in
1973, the United States Supreme Court found in Roe v. Wade, that
every woman has the un-Godly right to abort her viable
baby. At the time, it was a controversial ruling because most
Americans still believed the command – Thou shalt not murder.
Please be deeply concerned about the direction our country is
headed. For many, after abortion was sanctioned by the Court,
it became the birth control method of choice. The killing of
more than Fifty-three million innocents since that time is an
abomination in God’s sight. In 1990 alone, over 1,600,000
babies were uselessly slaughtered. Our Almighty God said
this about the killing of babies, "I commanded not
[abortion], nor spoke it, neither came it into my mind."
(Jeremiah 19:5) Our Lord could not imagine that mankind could
be so cruel and heartless as to kill their own beautiful children.
Brethren, God commands me, as a moral voice – never as a
political voice to: “Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice
like a trumpet, and show my people their transgression, and the
house of Jacob their sins.” (Isaiah 58:1) America, as
never before, has turned its back on our Creator God. Dreadful
and appalling curses are now in store for the United States of
America (Deuteronomy 28:15).
This week on March 23, 2010, the President of the United States,
Barack Obama, signed a law obligating every tax-paying citizen
to participate in paying for abortions – making every American
culpable. He calls it "health," but it means death
to millions of babies – just like when Pharaoh and Herod killed
the infants and children. In spite of a back-room executive
order, federal dollars are now mandated for abortion.
"The King of Egypt spoke to the Hebrew midwives... and he
said, When ye do the office of a midwife to the Hebrew women,
and see them upon the stools; if it be a son, then ye shall
kill him." (Exodus 1:15-16)
"Herod... was exceeding angry, and he sent forth, and slew
[murdered] all the children that were in Bethlehem, and in
all the coasts thereof, from two years old and under."
(Matthew 2:16) God is not pleased with us in the USA. We have
rejected our loving Creator God.
For whatever good this health-care reform law accomplishes, the Church of God
must take a stand and oppose it based on the compelling evidence
that it expands the role of the federal government into the
funding of abortions. This is a heinous crime in God’s eyes.
Brethren, please pray that God quickly intervenes to help the
United States of America. Our nation was founded on God's Law
and the rule of law. We were blessed because of it.
We quickly became the greatest nation this world has ever seen.
God blessed America immensely in power and wealth, but
now, America is going through fundamental changes – we are
losing our freedom and our morals. We have become a Godless
and lawless nation. It is not too late, because God promised, “If
my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves,
and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways;
then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and
will heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7:14)
Hundreds of millions of dollars were used to bribe unscrupulous elected
officials to vote as they did in defiance of God’s laws. Evil
is descending on the U.S. through wicked and sinful
politicians. Representative Bart Stupak swore that he
was adamantly against abortion, but after a lucrative deal, he
single-handedly enabled abortion to become the law of the land.
Like a prostitute, he could be bought. Bart Stupak could have
prevented public monies being used for the killing of babies.
In fact, all of the Congressmen that voted, “Yes” for the
abortion language have prostituted themselves – they all sold
out our Constitution and Declaration of Independence, which
provides for Life [not abortion],
Liberty and the Pursuit of happiness.
An executive order promising that no federal funds would be used for abortion
is meaningless. The only way public funding for abortion could
have been stopped was for Stupak's amendment to be added to the
Senate bill. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and President Obama
opposed Stupak's amendment. The President wanted and got the
abortion funding that the Senate bill allowed. There are no two
ways about it. Let me clear up the deceit right here: The
health-care bill passed as a result of outright deception
– deceit pretending to be a moral good.
America was founded on the rule of law – God’s law, to a great extent. Our
Constitution paved the way for blessings to rain down on
America. Our Constitution was trampled upon in the passage of
the new health reform law. The reform package evolved from two
bills. One, a heavily flawed and pork-laden version of health
reform passed by the Senate late last year, which was approved
by the House and signed on March 23rd. The other bill was a
“reconciliation” of the first. The final health insurance
reform bill was then passed by the House and the Senate,
subsequent to the executive order. The executive order was not
ratified in passage of the final bill that was signed into law.
The president can revoke his executive order as easily as he
signed it. An executive order cannot confer jurisdiction in the
courts or establish any grounds for suing in court. Therefore,
the executive order is unenforceable by a court of law. Had it
been President Obama's and the Democratic Congress' intent, the
funds for abortion clause could easily have
been removed by a stroke of the pen. It was not!
Promises, promises: While the White House proudly and ceremoniously
celebrated the signing of the health-care law with two public
events, the executive order was signed behind closed doors.
Immediately, hedging its actual agenda, the White House released
a statement on the abortion issue saying that, “…the legislation
maintains the status quo enshrined in current law.” In other
words, the executive order signed by President Obama cannot
securely override the health-care bill become law.
While God is removing the enormous blessings from the USA,
please remember we of God's Church are rich in God's truth.
Great curses and natural disasters are about to strike the
United States of America with a vengeance. We rejoice in the
message of Passover that we have salvation. Conditions all over
the entire earth are about to become unbearable.
Draw near to God - Have a joyous Passover. Passover is
our only hope. Unleavened Bread pictures God coming to live in
us. Speaking of a true Christian Jesus said, "My Father will
love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with
him." (John 14:23)
